Another opportunity for group space pricing, but this time in the summer on the Danube, with Nuremberg, Germany included. Don’t miss this beautiful itinerary!

TASTE OF BORDEAUX, WINE CRUISE

November 2025

From romantic walks to red wine, Bordeaux is the cultural capital of all that is quintessentially French. With land extensions in Bilboa and San Sebastian, Loire Valley and Paris!

Come sail with our group! You don’t have to love wine for this sailing, but it doesn’t hurt to learn more about wine making in the Bordeaux region.

Step into living history when you visit historic Roquetaillade Castle and Château Boutinet, delighting in their elegant décor and regal architecture. Then, contrast their grandeur with the pastoral gems including the historic village of Saint-Émilion and the seaside resort of Soulac-sur-Mer. Explore the cobblestone streets of Bordeaux and the rolling hills of the French countryside by foot or by bicycle, experiencing southern France according to your tastes.

Iconic Christmas Markets

December 2026

Travel back through centuries as you walk along cobblestone streets through grand cities and historic towns bedecked with twinkling Christmas trees and lined with wooden huts gleaming with handcrafted treasures. Iconic Christmas Markets are plentiful and are on full display for your pleasure. Nuremberg’s festive Christkindlesmarkt, the largest and oldest Christmas Market in Germany; Regensburg’s Artisan Christmas Market at Thurn and Taxis Castle, considered one of Bavaria’s most beautiful and romantic; Vienna with its impressive Christmas Markets that seem to majestically appear around every corner; and Budapest, where products sold in the market are traditionally handmade. Revel in a feast for the senses: sparkling lights; festive sounds of children dressed as angels singing carols; and enticing smells of hot-mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, sausages and sweet treats of every kind.

What are the benefits of a group?

Enjoy each others company

Are you wondering what the benefits of group travel might be? Are you wondering if you have to hang out with the other people in your group? Why would you become part of a group where you won’t know anyone? Let me solve this myth!

Groups are just prices that have been locked in for a number of rooms chosen by your travel agent. For instance, if I hold space for 5 rooms, then I am locking in the prices for 5 rooms for a period of time. That alone is a benefit to you, because it gives you time to make decisions without having to worry about prices changing.

Q1. Do you have to hang out with others in the group?

Ans. NO. You may not ever know who is in your group. But the more rooms that are booked, the more discounts and amenities you get.

Q2. What are the additional benefits?

Ans. Benefits are things such as:

  • A bottle of wine or box of chocolates in your room
  • On-board credit
  • The more people who book into a group can earn extra monies in the form of an additional discount
  • And some cruise lines, such as Amawaterways, give a $250 per person discount just for being part of a group
